Tapas or as we say appetizers, they are a great snack before going out for a late dinner or you could even have them for dinner. They’re a great way to taste many new and exciting foods.
While in Barcelona with my parents we had a chance to eat some typical Spanish tapas and they were delicious. My favorite tapas meal was eaten the first night that we were in Barcelona. It was at the restaurant Casa Alfonso, near where we were staying.
My parents and I looked through the menu and chose a few traditional plates with the help of the waitress. We chose a Spanish omelet (with veggies inside), roasted potatoes with a cheese sauce on top, croquettes with spinach and cheese, and some meat. Along with the meal came bread with a light layer tomato sauce and olive oil, helping make the bread moist plus adding some flavor.
